CM Internship Program Launches Lifesaving Training with Rescue 1122
Under the Chief Minister’s Internship Program, Rescue 1122 held a rigorous training session at the Central Station Chowk Kumharanwala, marking a crucial step towards creating a community that is safer and more prepared. The Pakistan Lifesaving Program, which aims to teach college students critical emergency response skills, formally began with this effort.
Official Launch of Pakistan Lifesaving Program
District Emergency Officer Dr. Hussain Mian oversaw the event and stressed the value of giving participants practical skills to properly manage situations. University students have a rare opportunity to gain practical training through this curriculum, which includes:
First Aid Methods: Handling typical medical crises.
CPR training teaches how to save lives in cases of cardiac and respiratory arrest.
Use of Advanced Equipment: Instruction on the use of cutting-edge medical equipment.
Emergency Response Techniques: Techniques for managing wounds and preventing blood loss.
Practical Deployment Across Rescue Stations
Those who successfully finish the course will be sent to different Rescue 1122 locations throughout the city. They will be able to help experienced rescuers during crucial crises and major events thanks to this phase’s invaluable practical exposure to real-life emergencies.
The program’s main goal is to equip participants with the skills necessary to provide prompt first aid, assist rescues, and make a significant contribution in times of need.
Oath Ceremony and Message from Dr. Hussain Mian
Dr. Hussain Mian stressed the value of humanitarian work while taking an oath from the attendees throughout the session. He praised Rescue 1122’s efforts, emphasizing its dual goals of providing emergency aid and encouraging a safety-conscious culture.
“The CM Internship Program’s Pakistan Lifesaving Program training is an essential step in building a better-prepared society,” Dr. Hussain Mian said.
He called the participants a great addition to the community and commended them for their passion and commitment. The welfare of society would be greatly improved by their efforts to emergency response, Dr. Mian said.
Fostering a Culture of Volunteerism
This program demonstrates Rescue 1122’s dedication to encouraging readiness and voluntarism throughout Pakistan. Participants reported that the training encouraged them to actively contribute to the creation of a safer environment and established in them a sense of duty toward the community.
